Meet Helen Frances
Trainer & Canine Enthusiast at Rockwood Dog Training

My love for dogs has been a lifelong passion. Over the years, I've had the privilege of owning and training a variety of breeds, including German Shepherds, Leonbergers, Springer Spaniels, and more. For over two decades, I’ve been involved with Rockwood Dog Training School, working alongside Ellen Ball to help owners build strong, respectful, and positive relationships with their dogs.

My journey began with advanced classes under the guidance of Martin Winfield, where I developed a deep foundation in dog training. Since then, I’ve expanded my skills through experiences in IPO/Schutzhund training, CaniCross competitions, and as a performer with the Rockwood Dog Display Team. I’m also proud that four of my dogs have been featured in television work through Rockwood Animals.

Whether it's training, walking, or simply enjoying time together, I find immense joy in working with dogs. Helping others achieve breakthroughs in their training journey is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do—and I’m proud to be part of a team that shares that same commitment.
